This Easter was one to remember at Riverside House, filled with warmth, gratitude, and community spirit. Our homeless residents were treated to a delicious, catered meal that brought joy and a sense of togetherness to everyone involved.
The star of the menu? The chicken, which had our residents raving! Many couldn’t stop talking about how flavorful it was, and their smiles said it all. The experience was made even more memorable by the volunteer caterer, who brought her own family to help serve the meal, including her kind-hearted six-year-old son, whose gentle spirit touched everyone he met.
Around 18 clients gathered to enjoy the meal together, creating a beautiful moment of fellowship. For those who were unable to attend in person, to-go boxes ensured no one was left out of the celebration.
