300 Letters Hosts a Vision Board Workshop

By January 10, 2024 No Comments

The 300 Letters Organization Team hosted a Vision Board Resource and Workshop for our Riverside House Residents for Christmas. CEO and Founders of 300 Letters Amanda and Legend Tarver, a non-profit organization providing services, resources, and support to the families of incarcerated individuals, and Sheena Eizmendiz, 300 Letters Board Member, Licensed Therapist, and Business Coach were graduates of Riverside House circa 2017. Each is leading a successful life and career in their respective fields, and we are so happy for them! We are also grateful for their time investment, knowledge, and expertise shared with our residents who not only enjoyed the workshop but benefited from what the 300 Letters Team provided.

Sheena led the residents in reviewing a vision board worksheet that provided prompt questions, ideas, and themes for the residents to ponder as they created their vision boards. Plenty of supplies were on hand for the residents to create their vision boards: poster board, magazines, pencils, scissors, glue, and more. The event fostered engagement, discussions, creativity, and a presentation of their finished artwork at the end of the workshop. Residents were hopeful and encouraged about making their dreams a reality one day, along with planning action steps. We look forward to the 300 Letters Team following up with our residents about their progress with their vision board!
