Riverside House experienced a beautiful outpouring of generosity, reminding us once again of the power of community and kindness. We were truly blessed by the incredible members of Greater New Bethel M. B. Church, led by Sis. Erma Stone and the amazing ladies of the Mission Group (1, 2, 3, and 4), The Daughters of Destiny, and the Health and Wellness Ministry. Their thoughtfulness and dedication to serving others touched our hearts in ways words can hardly capture.
Thanks to their generosity, our residents received:
- 24 packs of t-shirts
- 13 packs of socks
39 deodorants- 41 tubes of toothpaste
- 26 packs of toothbrushes
- 2 bars of soap
- 8 pairs of bedroom slippers
- Gently used pants and shirts
- Maxi pads and liners
- 18 spiritual books
Each item represents more than just material support; it is a gesture of love, dignity, and hope. Something as simple as a clean t-shirt or a fresh pair of socks can make a difference in someone’s day, helping them feel seen, valued, and cared for.
At Riverside House, we know that transformation happens not just through programs and resources but through relationships and the kindness of people who believe in second chances.
