A1 Credit Partnership Spotlight

At Riverside House, we believe that lasting change requires more than temporary relief; it requires access to tools that build stability, confidence, and independence. That’s why our partnership with A1 Credit has become such a meaningful part of the journey for individuals navigating reentry and homelessness.

Through this collaboration, Riverside House is expanding the support we can offer, moving beyond immediate needs and into long-term solutions that help residents rebuild their lives with dignity.

A1 Credit provides residents with critical services such as:

  • Credit repair and financial literacy

  • Employment and business readiness

  • Legal document preparation

  • Life-skills coaching and skill-building programs

  • Job placement assistance and referrals

These services are available to both Riverside Emergency Shelter clients and Bureau of Prisons residents, ensuring that individuals receive guidance no matter where they are in their reentry process.

One powerful example of this impact is Derrick Miller, a former BOP resident who, with A1 Credit’s support, earned his CDL license and secured a well-paying position in waste management. His story reflects what becomes possible when determination is met with the right guidance and opportunity.

We are deeply grateful for partners like Ms. Jennifer and the entire A1 Credit team, who believe in second chances and invest in transformation that lasts. Their commitment reminds us that when communities come together with a shared purpose, lives truly change.

Together, we are helping individuals move from survival to stability, and from uncertainty to hope.
