At Riverside House, we believe that transformation is not only possible, it’s also a daily reality made stronger through the love, faith, and commitment of people who care deeply about others. On July 10th, one of those shining lights was recognized in a very special way.

Michelle Taylor, our Life Skills Coach and Special Events Coordinator, was honored by Optimal Health Medical Center for her unwavering dedication to supporting the men and women we serve. Her passion goes far beyond day-to-day tasks; Michelle builds hope. She mentors residents through personal growth, coordinates experiences that uplift their spirits, and walks beside them as they rediscover who God created them to be.

This recognition reflects not only her hard work but the heart behind it, a calling to restore dignity, confidence, and community.

Alongside Michelle, some of our residents were invited to attend the celebration, joined by our President & CEO, Mr. Cleveland Bell. We are extremely grateful to Optimal Health Medical Center for their hospitality, partnership, and for providing transportation so residents could witness this meaningful moment firsthand. Their commitment to whole-person wellness aligns seamlessly with our mission to encourage spiritual, emotional, and practical transformation.

We are immensely proud of Michelle and blessed to have her as part of the Riverside House family. Her dedication is a testament to the impact one servant-hearted leader can have, and the lives that can change because of it.

Congratulations, Michelle! Thank you for allowing God’s light to shine so brightly through your work. You are helping shape new beginnings every single day.
