PRAYER
We are always in need of prayer! Please pray for the following:
- Riverside House’s residents and their journey to successful recovery and re-entry.
- Riverside House’s financial needs.
- Residents will be open to the message of the Gospel.
- Increase of volunteers.
- Opportunities for increased public, both local and national, awareness of the importance, need, and success of re-entry programs.
GIVING
Financial Gifts
- Consider becoming a financial contributor of Riverside House’s Pastoral Care Program. We are always seeking new donors as well as increasing our regular donor base.
- Include Riverside Christian Ministries, Inc. in your Will or Estate Planning.
Donations are accepted via the following methods: Check, Cash, Credit Card, and In-kind Donations. In-kind donations include, but are not limited to, the following;
- Clothing
- Steel Toe Work Boots
- Over the counter medicine such as Tylenol, Aspirin, etc.
- Phone Cards
- Construction Tools
- Toiletries
- Bibles & Books in English and Spanish
- Computers
- Paint and other building supplies
Capital Improvements
As a 24hour/7 days a week operation, our facility is in constant need of capital improvements. Please contact our Administrative Office for specific and updated informational needs.
- Cost and/or Supplies for Renovation of client rooms.
- Cost and/or Supplies for new windows
- Cost and/or Supplies of Commercial Kitchen Appliances
- Landscaping
- Cost and/or Supplies for Security Systems (i.e. fencing, etc.)
Riverside Christian Ministries, Inc. is a member of the EFCA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) and the ACA (American Correction Association). Since we are 501c (3) nonprofit organization, your contribution will be tax deductible.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed to help with our Pastoral Care Program and Weekly Family and Church Fellowship Night. The services needed include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Musicians
- Singers
- Preachers/Teachers
- Evangelists
Volunteer opportunities are also needed in the following areas:
- Clerical support
- Maintenance & Repairs
- Training for clients & Riverside House Team Members Counseling
- Assistance with Special
- Events such as:
- Fundraisers
- Mass mailings
- Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter dinners
- Become a member of our Board of Directors.
BE A BRIDGE
Be a bridge to the community for Riverside House by:
- Becoming a referral/contact from a local church/support group, community service agency, etc.
Clients who feel connected are less likely to recidivate. Therefore, Riverside Christian Ministries, Inc. wants to refer residents to local churches, community service agencies, etc. that will minister/ assist the offender and his/her family.
- Coordinating with your church/support group, corporation, etc. and Riverside Christian Ministries, Inc. to conduct a presentation of our programs and ministry to your group or company.
- Scheduling a tour of our facility for your church, corporation, youth group, etc.
